Hello, students!

You are about to go back in time to the 1960s in Oklahoma where you will witness the battle between two rival gangs: The Greasers and The Socs.  We will discuss music, clothing trends, slang used, and symbolism (this is Language Arts after all).  Your teacher is going to assign you a character to assume as we read the novel.  You will write blog posts as if you are a character discussing the events taking place in the novel.  Get ready for the rumble!
